Ian Wright came to town

My cousin, made me her plus 1 when she won an Astro competition to meet and dine with Ian Wright. Needless to say, everyone my age grew up watching him on tv.

It was held at Delicious in Ampang



Sit down fixed menu looked promising as it consisted of food from all over his travels. Started off with Syrian Bread.


This is as good as it got. Everything else tasted bad and it was just a mess as nothing complimented each other. All the tastes clashed.


Okinawa terriyaki chicken. The liver was terrible.



Then Ian Wright showed up, Smashing through a silhouette screen naturally.


Rudy from hitz.fm hosted.



Event was primarily to promote his new show out next month- Ian Wright's Out of Bounds. He then shared with us his stories on his travels. Delightfully hilarious and down to earth, he made me feel like he was actually in front of me but still on tv!

Some exotically named soup. But it was just minestrone soup to be honest.




Cousin's main was pulled Cuban beef. Tasted like cheap Mexican chillie.




Mine was Siberian baked chicken.


From then onwards i just didn't bother with photographing the food. It was just bad.


However! They had games and I went up to take on Ian Wright's team in PICTIONARY!




Sunscreen was the word.


It came down to a tie breaker as everyone answered right. Rudy had to draw. Word was snow. I got it. Ian got it second. He tried to CHEAT AND TAKE IT HOME!

REMATCH!

He won.

lollllllllllll!

I still got the prizes though.
